We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Manager to lead the strategy, transformation, and operational management of a large-scale cloud, infrastructure, and modern workplace environment across a globally based organisation.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager, you will take ownership of the cloud and infrastructure strategy, leading the adoption of modern technologies and best practices across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will deliver transformational change while ensuring operational excellence across critical IT services.
You will be responsible for developing and executing cloud migration and modernisation programmes, strengthening cybersecurity and governance frameworks, and creating a technology environment that enables productivity, collaboration, and business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation's cloud, infrastructure, and modern workplace strategy.
- Drive cloud adoption, migration, optimisation, and modernisation initiatives.
- Own the architecture, governance, and operational management of Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure platforms.
- Establish and enforce standards relating to governance, cybersecurity, identity, and access management.
- Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience planning activities.
- Ensure cloud and infrastructure services meet performance, availability, and security requirements.
- Manage technology roadmaps, budgets, and third-party supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align technology investments with organisational objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and cloud engineering teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Provide technical leadership during complex projects, programmes, and major incidents.

About You
We're looking for an experienced technology leader with a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise. You'll be comfortable operating at both a technical and executive level, translating business requirements into technology solutions and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional results.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise IT leadership role.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure environments.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and modern workplace solutions.
- Demonstrable success delivering cloud transformation, migration, and modernisation programmes.
- Experience leading infrastructure, cloud, and technical operations teams.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, governance frameworks, and identity and access management.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers, technology partners, and service providers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience developing technology strategies and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.

Role at a glance
- Starting Salary of £75,000 - £80,000 (DOE)
- 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays per year
- Flexible and hybrid working (2-3 days per week from home)
