Infrastructure & Systems Engineer Contract
Location: Hybrid 2-3 days per week on site - Wiltshire
Security: Current DV clearance required
Infinity Systems Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced Secure Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to support a high-profile UK defence programme.
This hands-on role will focus on the design, build and security of scalable infrastructure, supporting secure client environments and virtualised platforms within a highly secure engineering team.

- Design and build secure Windows-based infrastructure and client environments.
- Evaluate and deploy virtualisation solutions.
- Develop hardened Windows 10/11 gold images in line with security best practice.
- Support identity and access management, system updates and patching.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and maintain configuration control.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions.
Essential Experience
- Current DV clearance.
- Strong Windows infrastructure and systems engineering experience.
- Expertise in virtualisation technologies (KVM or equivalent).
- Experience hardening Windows operating systems to recognised security standards.
- Background delivering secure infrastructure within Defence or National Security environments.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small technical team.
