Infrastructure Engineer (2nd Line)
Location: Bristol, with occasional opportunities to work from home and travel to customer and Logiq locations as required.
Salary: Negotiable, plus up to 10% bonus based on company and individual performance, plus an excellent benefits package.

The Role
Logiq is a fast-growing technology company delivering secure solutions to clients across Defence, Government and Critical National Infrastructure sectors.
We are looking for a 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our Managed Services team. You will support secure customer environments, resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests, implementing approved changes and carrying out routine maintenance activities to ensure services remain secure, available and compliant.
Working alongside Service Management, Security Operations and Engineering teams, you will help deliver high-quality customer services while contributing to continual service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Investigate and troubleshoot server, network and application issues.
- Implement approved standard, normal and emergency changes.
- Carry out routine maintenance and patching activities.
- Support backup, recovery and resilience testing activities.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and service records.
- Contribute to Problem Management and root cause investigations.
- Work closely with internal teams, customers and third-party suppliers.
- Support security, compliance and audit requirements.
- Participate in planned out-of-hours maintenance activities when required.

What We're Looking For
Required
- Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management processes.
- Experience performing server and endpoint patching activities.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working within an ITIL-based Service Management environment.

- Firewall and Switch Management
- Application Management
- VMware (ESXi and vCenter)
- Dell Server Hardware
- Microsoft 365 Administration
