Infrastructure Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a software services company in Edinburgh. Due to continued growth across the organisation both in the UK & US they are looking for someone with knowledge of Azure, PowerShell, and Disaster Recovery. You will help drive the expansion of their SaaS-based platform and applications and play a key role in their continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for server hardware configuration and provisioning to provide a secure and performant compute platform.
  • Maintaining security and integrity of network infrastructure and services such that unauthorised activity can be recognised and prevented.
  • Managing secure and resilient datacentres to support products and internal services.
  • Reviewing and recommending new technologies with the aim of improving existing services.
  • Training and mentoring junior colleagues to raise their levels of expertise and minimise the number of required ticket escalations.
