Senior Infrastructure Engineer | £60,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing technology business delivering robust, secure IT infrastructure solutions. This role combines project delivery, and infrastructure automation, giving you ownership across the full infrastructure lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing physical and virtual IT infrastructure solutions.
- Leading infrastructure projects and ensuring timely delivery to customer requirements.
- Providing 3rd line support and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
- Maintaining systems through patching, upgrades, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Managing VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.
- Supporting networking infrastructure (Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell) and core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Administering Windows and Linux systems.
- Managing backup solutions including Veeam and NetBackup.
- Developing automation using Ansible/AWX, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including incident reports.
