About the job:
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the backbone of mission-critical secure environments. This is a high-impact role where you will provide proactive management and reactive support for customers within the National Security space. You won't just be "keeping the lights on"; you will be implementing automation to eliminate human error, evolving agile platform operations, and ensuring that some of the UK’s most sensitive infrastructure remains stable, reliable, and ahead of potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing operational support, including incident resolution, change implementation, and maintenance for stable environments.
- Implementing approved technical requests and automation to improve productivity.
- Developing and implementing improvements to operational and reference platform environments.
- Producing clear and concise technical documentation and supporting the Tech Lead with risk management.
- Proactive monitoring and stakeholder management, including service reporting and reviews.
- Embracing ITIL4 practices for agile platform operation delivery and operations.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and internal standards.
