Infrastructure Support Engineer
6-Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Sunderland - Hybrid – Must be 2 Days per week Onsite
Rate up to £500 per day
VIQU are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to support a large global organisation, maintaining and supporting their IT infrastructure and systems, Windows Server, VMware, Intune/SCCM, Active Directory and M365.
You will join the infrastructure team, providing 3rd Line technical support across BAU operations while also contributing to infrastructure and migration projects.

OUTSIDE IR35
- Windows Server – up to Server 2022/2025 – on-prem
- Ideally VMware experience but would consider Hyper-V – ideally experience with HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure)
- Active Directory
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Intune / SCCM
- Strong 3rd Line infrastructure support experience
- Basic networking knowledge – ideally Firewall experience
- Desired - Entra ID and/or Okta
Infrastructure Support Engineer – Responsibilities
- Deliver 3rd Line support across infrastructure, networking and end-user computing environments.
- Manage and support core technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta and IAM.
- Troubleshoot and maintain server, cloud, virtualisation and Microsoft-based infrastructure.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects, migrations, technical documentation and service improvements.

The Infrastructure Engineer must be able to commit to being onsite in central Newcastle for a minimum of 2 days per week.
