The Details
- On-site, Nottingham (3 days per week)
- Up to £500/day
- Contract to end of March - with extension inline with the new financial year (extension very likely - long term contract options)
- SC Clearance required
- Paid on-call included
A valid active SC clearance is essential - candidates without this cannot be considered
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineer to join a busy Managed Service Provider on a contract basis, delivering BAU support and project work for a public sector client.

You'll be working on-site with public sector clients 3 days a week, supporting and maintaining virtualised infrastructure environments. This is a hands-on technical role covering both day-to-day BAU operations and project delivery, with involvement in an on-call rota (paid).
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting and maintaining VMware, vSphere, and Horizon environments
- Managing Active Directory and Windows Server infrastructure
- Handling basic networking tasks and troubleshooting
- Delivering project work alongside BAU support
- Participating in a paid on-call rota

What We're Looking For
- Solid hands-on experience with VMware, vSphere, and Horizon
- Strong Active Directory and Windows Server skills
- Good working knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Ability to work independently on-site in a fast-paced MSP environment
- A valid SC clearance is essential - candidates without this cannot be considered
