Codethink is an international provider of world-class software engineering, product, and consultancy services. We provide innovative solutions to some of the world's most challenging system engineering challenges, including the development of the Trustable Software Framework, CTRL and most recently as a key partner to Arm and JLR in the DRIVE 35 programme.
We are looking for software infrastructure engineers whose focus will be designing and delivering the infrastructure that enables us to deliver Codethink's technology stacks to our customers at scale.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support and enable Codethink software engineering teams through delivery of scalable and distributed infrastructure able to be run in cloud and in on-prem contexts.
- Mentoring software infrastructure engineers and helping to curate internal training and development programmes.
- Provide input to and evaluation of Codethink's infrastructure technology choices.
- Be part of and/or support Codethink infrastructure teams to deliver and operate solutions to Codethink's customers in highly regulated environments.

We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Strong Linux and Git skills
- Have production experience deploying to and managing infrastructure on at least one of the major Cloud Services, using tooling such as terraform.
- Have production experience developing, deploying and operating kubernetes clusters. Experience doing this on openstack is a plus.
- Be able to provision and deploy to bare-metal instances with tooling such as ansible.
- Strong operational knowledge in management of production instances. Knowledge of methodologies such as SRE is a plus.
- Have an interest in, and ideally involvement with FOSS communities and/or projects.
