Cloud Operations Engineer (AWS/Azure)
📍 Cheltenham | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
I'm working with a leading technology business seeking a hands-on Cloud Operations Engineer to support and maintain AWS production environments. This role is focused on ensuring platform availability, security, resilience, and performance while working closely with engineering teams to keep critical infrastructure running smoothly. Key skills:
- Hands-on experience supporting AWS production environments
- Strong Windows Server administration skills
- Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and security principles
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, X-Ray, or similar)
- Basic operational knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (DBA experience not required)
- A process-driven mindset with experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
