Infrastructure Engineer

Content Guru is a leading global provider of enterprise cloud Customer Experience (CX) and contact centre solutions and is at the forefront of the Generative AI evolution.

We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join us at our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire. In this role, you'll manage and maintain the development platform that underpins our development teams, supporting the build, test and release of products prior to deployment on multi-tenanted cloud platforms serving customers across the finance, blue light and government sectors. Responsibilities include CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure as code, containerisation and orchestration, database technologies, monitoring and observability, and security and compliance.

What we are looking for

We're seeking a motivated infrastructure professional with at least 2 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure operations. You'll contribute to the design, delivery and maintenance of globally distributed cloud infrastructure, ensuring resilience, scalability and performance.

Location

This role is based at our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions with zero-downtime deployment practices
  • Provide hands-on support for operational issues and platform reliability
  • Automate workflows and processes to improve efficiency
  • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines
  • Develop proactive monitoring strategies and support security best practices
  • Participate in incident response, threat simulation and operational runbooks
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical issues and support deployments
  • Design systems with high availability and disaster recovery in mind
  • Support a global, always-on environment

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant infrastructure or DevOps role
  • Familiarity with operating systems, cloud technologies and hardware
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
  • Understanding of containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Understanding of security principles and monitoring practices is desirable
