About The Role

This permanent Infrastructure Engineer position sits with a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Stevenage, offering £40,000 to £55,000 plus annual bonus and benefits. The successful candidate prepares outline and detailed civil engineering designs and drawings to relevant standards, working alongside clients, contractors and the supply chain to define and develop project objectives. This multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Hertfordshire are seeking an infrastructure engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities Will Include

  • Preparing outline & detailed civil engineering designs and drawings in accordance with the relevant design standards
  • Working collaboratively with clients, contractors and the supply chain to understand and develop project objectives.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, statutory and local authorities to obtain relevant approvals.

What They Are Looking For

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or suitable alternative qualification
  • Experience across residential, education, commercial, development and regeneration projects
  • Highways design experience including S38 & S278
  • S104 & S185 Drainage Design & Technical Approval
  • Pavement Design & Specification
  • Detailed Drainage Design & Modelling including SuDS
  • Flood Risk Assessments & Drainage Strategies
  • Strong technical report writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of drainage design software - Causeway Flow or similar
