Experience
Experience in IT operations, infrastructure or TechOps roles, with ability to lead teams.
Experience operating as a 3rd-line (SME) support engineer across complex platforms, working both independently and collaboratively.
Proven track record supporting business-critical, 24x7 production systems in Financial Services.
Experience leading major incident resolution and post-incident reviews.
Proven experience working with third-party service integrators and fully managed IT service providers in a multi-vendor environment, building effective and trusted relationships and managing them against SLAs.
Demonstrable experience driving process improvement and automation through scripting, tooling and modern ways of working.

Experience working within ITIL and Agile frameworks in regulated environments.
Experience delivering on client-facing engagements, with a record of joining new projects and becoming productive within weeks.
Working in a high-performing IT Engineering or Operations team in an equivalent or larger organization.
Skills
Essential:
- Strong technical capability across the Microsoft technology stack, including Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 and Azure, with experience of cloud migrations from on-premise environments.
- ITIL 4 Foundation (or demonstrable equivalent practice).
- At least one cloud associate-level certification, e.g. AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Financial Services experience (Banking, Insurance, Payments, Lending, Wealth or Debt Purchasing) in a regulated production environment.
