We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our UK IT team and play a key role in supporting, maintaining and transforming our infrastructure as we continue our journey towards a cloud-first environment.

What you'll be doing
As part of our Infrastructure team, you'll provide 3rd line infrastructure support while helping to deliver ongoing improvements across our on-premise and cloud environments.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting and administering our UK infrastructure across servers, cloud platforms and networking
- Investigating and resolving complex 3rd line technical issues
- Designing and implementing proactive monitoring and alerting to prevent future incidents
- Managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy and core infrastructure services
- Supporting our AWS and Azure cloud platforms as we continue to migrate services to the cloud
- Working closely with internal IT teams and external technology partners to deliver infrastructure improvements
- Ensuring all infrastructure changes meet security, compliance and governance standards
- Maintaining clear technical documentation and automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
- Participating in an on-call rota and providing out-of-hours support during key retail trading periods
Our Technology
You'll gain exposure to a broad and evolving technology landscape including:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Office 365
- AWS (ECS, Amazon MQ, RDS, S3, Workspaces, VPCs)
- Microsoft Azure
- PowerShell
- Meraki networking
- SQL Server
- SolarWinds (or similar monitoring platforms)
- Remote Access technologies
With around 150 Windows servers, multiple AWS environments and Azure services, there's plenty of opportunity to broaden your technical expertise.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who's naturally curious, enjoys learning new technologies and isn't afraid to take ownership.

You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience administering Windows Server environments
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
- Experience monitoring and supporting enterprise infrastructure
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
- Experience creating technical documentation and automation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- A proactive"can do" approach and the confidence to work independently when needed
It would be great if you also have experience with:
- PowerShell scripting
- Office 365 administration
- Networking
- Linux
- AWS services such as ECS, MQ and web applications
- SolarWinds or similar monitoring platforms
