Infrastructure Engineer

Location: London or Bristol – onsite

We’re working with one of Europe’s most exciting and well-funded AI hardware companies, building a new generation of compute infrastructure designed specifically for high-performance AI inference.

They’re growing their Infrastructure / Platform team and looking for an exceptional engineer to help build and scale the systems that underpin their entire engineering organisation.

The Role

You’ll work across a highly technical environment spanning software, hardware, ML, compilers and simulation, with responsibility for areas including:

  • Owning and scaling CI/CD infrastructure
  • Maintaining and improving a large multi-language build system / monorepo
  • Improving build performance, reliability and developer productivity
  • Building observability, monitoring and alerting infrastructure
  • Debugging complex CI and infrastructure failures
  • Supporting engineering workloads across Python, C++, Rust, SystemVerilog and ML

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in software, infrastructure or platform engineering
  • Strong experience building and operating large-scale CI/CD systems
  • Experience with modern build systems such as Bazel, Buck, Pants, Please or similar
  • Strong understanding of SRE principles, reliability and incident management
  • Experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or similar
  • Python scripting / automation experience
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging ability
