Job Summary
We're working with a highly regulated financial services organisation looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance their enterprise technology estate. The successful candidate will bring strong Microsoft infrastructure experience, including Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, virtualisation, backup and disaster recovery solutions. Experience working within regulated environments and maintaining business-critical systems is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain core infrastructure platforms across production and non-production environments.
- Deliver infrastructure improvements, upgrades and operational changes in line with agreed processes.
- Monitor system health, availability and performance, taking proactive action where required.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues while identifying underlying causes.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects and production implementations.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge resources.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy environments.
- Solid background supporting Windows Server platforms within hybrid cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Defender technologies.
- Knowledge of VMware virtualisation and enterprise backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- Good understanding of networking concepts and enterprise infrastructure operations.
- Experience working within regulated environments and following ITIL-based processes.
