This role supports BT's objective to deliver reliable, efficient and customer-focused technology services by ensuring users have access to responsive local IT support. It contributes to operational excellence, service continuity and colleague productivity, enabling teams to focus on delivering business and customer outcomes.

This job role is based in Cheltenham. Due to security requirements, this role requires you to be located on site during your working hours. Mon-Fri 37.5. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide on-site IT support for colleagues and corporate services based in Cheltenham.
• Resolve incidents and service requests in line with agreed service levels.
• Support end-user devices, workplace technology, and local IT infrastructure.
• Assist with hardware deployment, replacement, and asset management activities.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating where appropriate.

• Experience providing IT support in an enterprise or corporate environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across end-user devices and workplace technology.

• Good understanding of Microsoft applications and services (Office Suite, SCCM).

Desirable

• Experience supporting users within secure or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and local infrastructure support.
• Experience with asset management and hardware deployment activities.
• Familiarity with Jira Service Desk or similar IT service management tools.
