Role Overview

This role oversees a globally distributed team of infrastructure SMEs to help ensure adherence to Cloud policy and security controls while keeping delivery on track against transition and conversion plans. Working across Group Function Technology CTOi you’ll partner closely with local, central and third-party teams and engage with Audit, Risk and Control.
The focus is on building stable well-supported cloud products across the GFT estate while maintaining clear governance and delivery visibility. Success looks like measurable progress against cloud compliance commitments with strong cadence across the team and confidence from stakeholders. You’ll also support the development and day-to-day running of the Cloud Enablement programme office.
Responsibilities
In this role you’ll
- Oversee cloud compliance management activities across Group Function Technology CTOi
- Manage operational support and stability of cloud products across the GFT estate
- Run a globally distributed team of infrastructure FTEs to support compliance with Cloud policy within GFT
- Embed adherence to security controls across cloud products and associated delivery activities
- Shape the approach, build stakeholder buy-in and manage commitments and change across initiatives
- Create and track tasks aligned to global strategies and agreed delivery plans
- Establish strong working relationships with local, central and third-party teams to support delivery outcomes
- Run regular governance with team leads to maintain progress against transition and conversion plans and forecasts

Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
- Bring strong or advanced knowledge of cloud offerings and products
- Demonstrate established experience in infrastructure management and project delivery including people management responsibilities
- Apply strong analytical skills to understand complex technical and business issues
- Use solid grounding in cloud design and architecture to support delivery across cloud programmes
- Show good understanding of Cloud FinOps and Cloudability
- Communicate clearly to build and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups across business areas
- Use working knowledge of systems such as JIRA and Confluence
