Infrastructure Manager

£85,000 - £90,000 + Excellent Benefits

Hybrid (3 days in the office) | London (with occasional travel to UK sites)

Are you an experienced Infrastructure professional looking for a role where you'll genuinely influence technology strategy rather than simply keeping the lights on?

We're partnering with a well-established, multi-site organisation operating within a highly regulated, customer-facing environment to recruit an Infrastructure Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a complex enterprise infrastructure estate, working at the heart of technology decision-making whilst collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and strategic technology partners.

This is not a traditional people management role. Instead, you'll become the organisation's technical authority across infrastructure, cloud and networking, ensuring outsourced technology partners deliver secure, resilient and high-performing services whilst driving continuous improvement across the estate.

The Opportunity

You'll inherit responsibility for a mature enterprise environment where much of the day-to-day infrastructure support is delivered through managed service providers. Your role is to provide technical leadership, governance and direction, ensuring suppliers remain accountable and infrastructure continues to evolve in line with business needs.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, third-party providers and senior leadership, you'll play a key role in shaping infrastructure strategy, improving operational resilience and delivering technology modernisation initiatives across a multi-site estate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
