About the Role

Authority is building an expert panel to understand and predict important developments in global infrastructure markets.

We are looking for an experienced infrastructure professional who is currently active in the market in the United Kingdom and has up-to-date knowledge of local conditions.

You will provide practical intelligence on transport, energy, water, telecommunications, and public infrastructure, including project pipelines, funding, procurement, regulation, delivery, costs, operators, and investors in the United Kingdom.

Your intelligence will help improve datasets and forecasting models designed to predict commercial events, market changes, and business outcomes.

What You Will Contribute

  • Join short monthly research calls
  • Review market data and identify missing or inaccurate information
  • Explain important changes in the local market
  • Assess the likelihood and timing of projects, investment, and demand
  • Share intelligence on companies, investors, customers, and public bodies
  • Review forecasts and explain the local signals that matter

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Currently active or closely involved in the market in the United Kingdom
  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions
  • Direct experience with commercial, investment, operational, or strategic decisions
  • A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant experience

Engagement Details

  • Independent contract
  • Remote within the United Kingdom
  • Approximately 2 to 4 paid consulting hours per month

This is not a full-time position. It is a flexible, paid expert consulting engagement.
