Infrastructure Migration Specialist – Multi-Year Programme
£400–£500 per day | Outside IR35
6-month contract | Strong extension potential
Hybrid – Greater Liverpool
Join a major enterprise infrastructure programme within a rapidly expanding global organisation. A significant tenant-to-tenant migration is underway, alongside a wider programme of infrastructure consolidation and transformation, creating a substantial pipeline of work for experienced infrastructure contractors.
This is a hands-on enterprise infrastructure role centred on VMware and Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365, with Azure forming part of the wider hybrid estate. Deep VMware and Windows infrastructure experience is essential. You'll be joining a long-term transformation programme where experienced infrastructure professionals can become key technical resources rather than simply supporting a short-term project.

Responsibilities
- Engineer and support VMware and Microsoft enterprise infrastructure.
- Support the major tenant-to-tenant migration and associated infrastructure changes.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Windows Server in large enterprise environments.
- Experience across Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Azure within hybrid infrastructure estates.
- Nutanix and/or Rubrik experience would be beneficial.
Contract Details
- Day rate: £400–£500 per day
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months initially, with strong extension potential
- Working model: Hybrid – Greater Manchester
