Infrastructure Operations Engineer (3rd Line Technical Support)
An opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer (3rd Line Technical Support) to join a friendly, supportive ICT Technology Department.
This is a senior role within the Infrastructure Operations Team, ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional with strong technical expertise across enterprise IT environments.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and technically minded, with a proven track record of supporting and developing complex infrastructure solutions.
The role includes supporting technologies such as virtualisation, storage, backup solutions, secure gateways, server environments, and a small amount of networking and software defined infrastructure, while leading investigations, evaluating options and recommending innovative solutions that support the Councils business objectives.

As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor less experienced colleagues, contribute to service improvement initiatives and help ensure the Council continues to make effective use of current and emerging technologies.
