Role: Infrastructure Operations Engineer
Location: Hybrid – London, Bristol or Manchester, 1 day per week onsite
Role Type: 12 months
Salary: Depending on experience
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Data Migration / Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support a large-scale migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 within a complex, highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of migration jobs from preparation and staging through execution, validation and remediation.

Key Technical Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in cloud/data migration projects
- Strong hands-on experience migrating Google Workspace → Microsoft 365
- Experience with Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar and Workspace
- Strong Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft Native Migration Tools / Migration Manager and ideally Cloudiway
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience for migration workflows, automation and data remediation
- Experience troubleshooting migration errors, data integrity issues and throughput/performance bottlenecks
- Experience with data mapping, validation, reconciliation and quality assurance
- Understanding of data security, classification, encryption and GDPR
- Ability to maintain migration logs, reporting and technical documentation
- Strong communication skills, including explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
