As an Infrastructure Project Manager
You will join the IT Infrastructure team responsible for driving the evolution of QRT's next generation systems infrastructure. You will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent infrastructure projects that support our expanding global trading footprint, partnering closely with Compute, Network Engineering, Data Centre Operations, vendors and financial exchanges.
Working across both trading and enterprise infrastructure initiatives, you will help deliver resilient, high-performance platforms in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while supporting QRT's continued growth.

Your Future Role within QRT
- Lead projects from initial engagement with requestors, translating business requirements into technical solutions, then implementing end-to-end delivery.
- Plan and manage end-to-end infrastructure delivery of new trading sites in colocation at proximity venues through effective project/task management and resource planning.
- Assist the networking team in gathering requirements and coordinating with vendors, brokers and exchanges for new connectivity/access to markets.
- Manage infrastructure provisioning and deployment across colocation and regional data centres, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Assist QRT infrastructure team in managing allocation of compute resources across all QRTs colocations and datacentres.
- Build up working knowledge of QRT’s business and technology stack.
- Ensure project stakeholders are kept up to date on status / timelines / project blockers using the Atlassian JIRA system.
- Ensuring infrastructure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.

Your Present Skillset
- At least 5 years’ experience delivering electronic trading infrastructure implementations.
- Previous experience of the financial technology industry is a must.
- Knowledge of trading colocation environments is a must.
- Strong knowledge of trading infrastructure (Linux, Networking).
- Good working knowledge of exchange connectivity (market data/order entry).
- Effective project management skills and practices.
- An analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A self-starter with excellent communication & collaboration skills.
