Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Job Description
We are offering a unique opportunity for a Senior Project Manager within the Chief Operating Office. This role is pivotal in shaping the future by delivering strategic ambitions through operational excellence, innovation, enhanced customer experience, and business protection from industry threats. The position is based in Alderley Edge, 20 miles from Manchester centre, and offers a hybrid working style with 50% home and office-based work.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex technical initiatives across multiple lines of business.
- Oversee the full project life cycle from initiation to deployment, demonstrating the ability to operate at various stages simultaneously.
- Promote continuous improvement by engaging colleagues across value streams and other areas, fostering collaborative and commercial relationships with third parties to manage costs and maximise value.
- Deliver Technical Upgrade Projects including Operating System Changes, Software Upgrades, and Platform Rehosting.
Essential Skills
- experience in infrastructure management.
- Proficiency with Oracle.
- Strategic planning abilities.
- experience in a project manager role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prince 2 or equivalent PM certification.
