About the Role
As Infrastructure, Projects and Assets Manager, you will lead a broad and important remit across Neighbourhood Services, bringing together infrastructure capital projects, asset development, and operational compliance. Reporting to the Assistant Director Neighbourhood Services, you will oversee the management and delivery of projects and programmes linked to parks, allotments, and other assets, alongside compliance for the Council’s Depot and Waste Transfer Station.
You will manage key service areas including parks development, allotments, trees, the Depot, Waste Transfer Station, and associated operational assets. This includes:

About You
We are looking for someone who can balance strategic planning with hands-on operational delivery. You will be:
- Confident managing a varied workload
- Leading people

- Communicating clearly
You should have strong knowledge of:
- Project management
- Asset management
- Current health and safety legislation and risk assessment processes
Additionally, you should have experience of managing resources and service performance.
Essential Requirements
- Full driving licence
- WAMITAB Level 4 Certificate of Technical Competence in Managing Transfer of Hazardous Waste or working towards
- Chartered Management Institute membership or working towards
- A relevant leadership, management, coaching, or mentoring qualification, or equivalent significant experience

Role Requirements
- Flexibility, including working outside normal office hours, evening meetings, weekends, or bank holidays where required
- Participation in an on-call rota
- Driving and relevant DVLA licence checks will be required
