Position: Infrastructure Security Controls Specialist - Governance / Supplier Management
Salary: 80k GBP
Industry: Global Insurer
Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office
Location: Guildford, Surrey
Our client is one of the largest financial services companies in the world, so having previous enterprise-wide experience in financial services is essential. Their UK head office is in Surrey.
Are you someone who's great at managing suppliers and applying controls? We need you to be a good communicator, who can bring focus across Security Controls & Governance.
- Can you identify the weaknesses of Patch Management and Controls, and how this ties in with technical debt?
- Do you have experience escalating these issues to the supplier?

Experience needed:
- Supplier Management; Audit functions; Cost; End-to-end implications of patch management - Understanding Vulnerability, such as if the issue can't be patched, what can be done?
- A strong record of 3rd party management. You will be working very closely with our client's partner.
- Security Controls; Diligence; Understanding the importance of controls and able to interrogate the evidence, and happy to take the minutes to present to the Auditor.
- An understanding of Security with a forward mindset, as well as being able to keep the lights on/manage the current environment.
- Governance - are you happy to do the more governance-focused tasks?
