Infrastructure Specialist
Type: Contract | 01/08/2026 to 31/12/2026
Rate: £463.83 per day (Inside IR35)
Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to be responsible for managing the operation of IT hardware, software, communications, and application solutions to support the delivery of IT services and products that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of IT hardware, software, communications, and application solutions.
- Plan for, develop, deliver, and support IT services and products.
- Prepare for and support new or changed services.
- Support the change management process.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional standards.
- Monitor the performance of systems and services in relation to business performance.
- Manage bought-in services, including public networks, virtual private networks, and outsourced services.
- Produce service-level reporting.
- Support risk management and contingency planning.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

- Experience managing IT infrastructure, hardware, software, communications, or application solutions.
- Experience supporting IT service delivery and operations.
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere DataPower.
- Knowledge of MAPICS.
- APICS CPIM certification is desirable.
