JOB TITLE: Infrastructure Specialist - Network Development

SALARY: £36,224

LOCATION(S): Manchester or Leeds

HOURS: Full-time, 35 hours

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time in the office.

What you'll be doing:

Kick-start your career in technology as an Infrastructure Specialist within our Network Development team.

You'll help support and enhance the network platforms that enable services for millions of customers, while gaining hands-on experience in network engineering, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll develop valuable technical skills, contribute to the evolution of scalable and resilient network capabilities, and play a role in modernising how we deliver network services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their IT career who is eager to learn, solve technical challenges, and grow with one of the UK's leading organisations.

In this role, you'll:

  • Support Developing Network Services Skills - research industry trends for innovative new solutions to problems within the platform. Enabling teams to move faster, more accurately and with assurance in our platform offering to customers
  • Monitor & Improve - work closely with engineering and operations teams to identify issues, analyse trends, and support troubleshooting across our network platforms, gaining hands-on experience with real-world infrastructure challenges
  • Grow & Learn - learn from expert engineers in a supportive environment, building practical skills in network engineering, automation, and modern infrastructure practices. We'll support you in developing a deep technical foundation. Which you'll apply to everyday problems in a large enterprise network
  • Contribute to Platform Development - play an active role in enhancing our network capabilities by supporting automation initiatives, improving platform performance, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of how we design and deliver network services.
