Are you looking to take the next step in your infrastructure career and play a key role in supporting secure, business-critical services?

You’ll be joining a tight-knit team working within a highly focused environment, helping to keep core systems stable, resilient, and continuously improving. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with infrastructure, investigate complex issues, and contribute to improvements that meaningfully impact operational performance.

We work onsite in a secure environment in Portsmouth, supporting a programme with growing technical demands. You’ll be surrounded by colleagues who share knowledge, support each other, and take pride in delivering high-quality work in a mission-driven setting.

Working as part of a 24/7 shift-based support team

You will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation, support, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications. The role will involve incident, problem, request, and change management, with opportunities to contribute to testing, implementation, and operational process development.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting and managing core IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and operating systems.
  • Managing incidents, problems, requests, and changes in a structured, ITIL-aligned environment.
  • Investigating and resolving technical issues and contributing to root-cause analysis.
  • Monitoring live services to ensure consistent performance against agreed service levels.
  • Contributing to infrastructure improvements, project activity, testing, and release support.
  • Producing and maintaining clear technical documentation to support day-to-day operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
