The Role
In your role as our Infrastructure Systems Administrator & Engineer you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by:
- Providing Infrastructure's internal 2nd/3rd line support service.
- Maintaining, securing & improving both on-prem and cloud Infrastructure's.
- Scheduling & executing regular maintenance tasks.
Hybrid Role with 3 days based in Cambridge
We will only consider Candidates within an hour commute of Cambridge.

- Triaging 2nd line infrastructure support tickets, project requests
- Monitoring, triaging & resolving infrastructure & application system issues
- Scheduled & manual systems maintenance, support, monitoring, audit, and reporting (including backup management, vulnerability remediation, configuration management)

Must have Skills
- AD, Azure, MS365 suite, Hyper-V, RDS, AWS, MFA, SSO, Identity & Access Management.
- Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
- Incident, change & problem management (incl. 3rd parties)
- Process-driven ITSM tooling (Jira, ServiceNow or similar)
- Ansible
- Backup technologies i.e. Veeam (local, Azure, AWS)
- DataCentre monitoring & out-of-band hardware management
- OS & Application patching tools
- Structured troubleshooting methodologies
- Enterprise Microsoft systems installation, troubleshooting & maintenance
- Powershell, VB, Python etc.
