Infrastructure Systems Analyst
We are looking for an Infrastructure Systems Analyst to join our Infrastructure team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality third-line technical support across the Federation's end-user computing environment.
Working closely with colleagues across our academies, you will help ensure that Windows, Apple and mobile devices are secure, compliant, reliable and effectively managed throughout their lifecycle, while driving continuous improvements to our infrastructure services and user experience.
Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering, maintaining and supporting Windows, Apple and mobile device environments.
- Managing devices through Intune, SCCM, Jamf, Meraki and Apple management platforms.
- Supporting Windows Autopilot and Apple automated device enrolment.
- Deploying applications, operating system updates, security patches and configuration profiles.
- Investigating and resolving complex endpoint, application and device management issues.
- Monitoring device health, security and compliance, coordinating remediation where required.
- Managing endpoint encryption technologies, including BitLocker and FileVault.
- Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing improvements to strengthen security.
- Conducting root cause analysis and delivering preventative solutions to recurring issues.
- Developing scripts and automation to improve provisioning, management and reporting.
- Researching and recommending new technologies to enhance security and user experience.
- Maintaining technical documentation, procedures and knowledge base articles.
- Supporting IP telephony migrations and ongoing telephony services.
- Acting as a technical escalation point for complex incidents and service requests.
