Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure / Video Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance streaming and infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in systems, networking, and video streaming, with a hands-on approach to solving complex real-time streaming challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure for live and on-demand streaming platforms.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize streaming servers such as:
- Wowza
- NGINX-RTMP
- FFmpeg
- Kurento
- Janus
- Work with streaming protocols (WebRTC, RTMP, SRT, HLS, DASH) to ensure performance and reliability.
- Build and manage global CDN and cloud infrastructure for low-latency delivery.
- Automate deployments using tools like:
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Monitor and troubleshoot system, network, and streaming performance using tools such as:
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- ELK/EFK
- Conduct performance tuning, load testing, and capacity planning for large-scale streaming environments.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, operation manuals, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and software teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.

Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in system administration or network engineering, with at least 2 years in video streaming.
- Proficiency in:
- Linux system administration
- Scripting (Bash, Python)
- Deep understanding of:
- Networking protocols
- Diagnostic tools (tcpdump, Wireshark, iproute2)
- Practical experience with:
- Wowza
- WebRTC
- NGINX-RTMP
- FFmpeg
- Janus
- Kurento
- Experience with:
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- CDN configuration
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Nice to Have
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of video codecs (H.264/H.265/AV1) and transcoding workflows.
- Experience supporting large-scale live events or low-latency streaming systems.
- Knowledge of security best practices (TLS, certificate management, DDoS protection).
- Strong documentation and technical communication skills.
