AI Engineer (m/f/x) · Key Predict · London · 6-month fixed-term contract · ASAP
Key Predict develops a SaaS talent assessment platform connected to its clients’ ATS systems: psychometric assessments, predictive models, and online interviews. Our R&D team, comprising psychometricians, data scientists, and project managers based in Paris, London, and India designs these assessments and models. The team also integrates AI at multiple levels: to interpret results, to evaluate unstructured content, and to enhance the quality and reliability of the assessment processes.
The Role
As part of the R&D team, you will develop and maintain its AI services, integrating them into the platform alongside the development team. You won’t be working alone on development: you’ll coordinate the entire effort to ensure the smooth operation and implementation of all our AI applications.
- You’ll also contribute to the design on two levels: the AI applications themselves, based on functional requirements; and, together with the tech team, the platform-level developments they carry out to implement these applications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver AI services, from specification to production deployment.
- Translate functional requirements into user stories and technical specifications, then implement them using spec-driven development (SDD) with code agents (Claude Code, Codex).
- Develop and maintain Python microservices, each with its own specifications and code.
- Design generative AI solutions: versioned prompts, structured and validated outputs, and model selection based on quality, cost, and response time.
- Test the services and monitor the quality of model outputs.
- Coordinate development efforts within the R&D team to ensure the smooth operation and implementation of all applications.
- Define API contracts and oversee the integration of services into the platform in collaboration with the IT team.
- Contribute to the design of applications and the related development work carried out by the IT team within the platform.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for the scientific team and promote the SDD within the team.
- Occasionally present our products to clients or during webinars.
- Provide technical leadership for projects, without direct supervisory oversight.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
