About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Writer specialising in Inheritance Tax to join Tolley, a leading provider of tax research.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of practical guidance, in-depth content, and AI-driven tools supporting inheritance tax, trusts, and estates. You will collaborate with a knowledgeable and supportive team, helping shape the future direction of tax content and solutions.

As an Inheritance Tax Writer, you will be responsible for...

  • Writing and updating content for Tolley+ (including both deep research material and practical guidance and AI tools)
  • Working with Tolley’s Commissioning team on externally commissioned IHT content
  • Assisting the Director of Content and the wider business with the strategic direction of Tolley’s Tax offering

What you already have...

  • CTA/ STEP qualified (or equivalent)
  • A good technical knowledge of IHT, Trusts, Estates and Personal Tax, both advisory and compliance
  • Strong English writing skills
  • Ability to communicate complex tax concepts in an understandable way
