Initiation Project Manager | SC Cleared | Hybrid London | Contract

We're looking for an experienced Initiation Project Manager to join a high-profile programme within a complex, multi-supplier environment.

Location: Hybrid – London
Contract: Initial 5 months (Inside IR35)
Clearance: Active SC Clearance (minimum) required

The Role

You'll lead the project initiation phase, ensuring everything is in place for successful delivery. This includes requirements gathering, procurement and RFP management, supplier onboarding, project planning, governance, and delivery readiness.

  • 7–10 years' Project or Programme Management experience
  • Strong Agile delivery experience (PI Planning, backlog refinement, iterative delivery)
  • Experience leading project mobilisation and initiation activities
  • Strong background in RFPs, procurement, supplier onboarding, and multi-supplier environments
  • Defence or secure government programme experience is highly desirable
  • Desirable: SAP S/4HANA knowledge and certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, SAFe, PSM, or PSPO.
