Salary: £43,243.49 – £47,675.95 per annum
Full time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm
About The Role
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join a busy and dynamic toolroom environment in Blackburn.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Toolmaker who enjoys a hands-on role and has a versatile background across manual machining, grinding, injection moulding tooling and fault diagnosis.
You will play an important role in supporting production, maintaining tooling performance and ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of toolroom and toolmaking activities.
- Work with and maintain hot runner systems.
- Diagnose and resolve tooling faults on the production shop floor.
- Operate manual centre lathes and milling machines.
- Carry out surface grinding and universal grinding.
- Maintain and repair tooling to a high standard.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and tooling issues efficiently.
- Support production requirements and minimise downtime.
- Manage your own workload effectively and work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and workmanship.

About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience as an Injection Moulding Toolmaker or Toolmaker within a manufacturing environment.
- Be fully versatile across manual machining and grinding disciplines.
- Have experience using manual lathes, milling machines, surface grinders and universal grinders.
- Have experience working with hot runner systems and fault diagnostics.
- Be self-motivated, reliable and capable of working independently.
- Be proactive and able to manage workload effectively, including during quieter periods.
- Have a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and quality.
A Recognised Apprenticeship And Relevant Trade Qualifications Are Preferred.
Training & Development
A structured three-month training period will be provided on the day shift, along with ongoing support to help you become familiar with the role, processes and equipment.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday – Day Shift
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime, including weekends, may be required depending on business needs.
