Typical Activities
Working within our Customer Engagement team and collaborating closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, Finance and Marketing, the Innovation Capture and Delivery Manager will build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities for innovation growth and support the successful delivery of innovation programmes.
You Will
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a key point of contact and developing a detailed understanding of their environment, requirements and priorities.
- Identify and develop opportunities to upsell and cross-sell PentenAmio products and services, supporting Business Development with customer engagements, proposals and requirements capture.
- Identify opportunities for innovation growth, assessing relevant frameworks and supporting the development of new customer opportunities.
- Provide project management support to innovation delivery projects, working across Engineering and Product Development to coordinate resources and support successful delivery.
- Manage customer concerns and changing requirements, working with internal teams to ensure issues are resolved effectively and customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Support contract renewals, negotiations and amendments, with consideration for commercial agreements, licensing and Intellectual Property protection.
- Create and review customer-facing documentation, including proposals, supporting documentation and user materials.
- Monitor innovation growth and account performance against the Annual Operating Plan, providing monthly reporting to key stakeholders and working with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support Defence-focused exhibitions, customer engagements and wider Growth & Strategy activities.
- Work alongside Product Management and Marketing to increase awareness, education and adoption of PentenAmio products and services.

What we're looking for
- Strong experience building and managing customer relationships, ideally within Defence, Government, technology or another complex environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand customer environments, respond to changing requirements and accurately represent customer needs internally.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen, including an understanding of how sales and commercial decisions impact revenue and Profit & Loss (P&L).
- Experience identifying, developing or supporting new business, innovation, upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial and business information and communicate findings clearly and accurately.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, organise workloads and deliver against agreed timescales and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams while also working independently and taking ownership of deliverables.
- A high level of integrity, emotional intelligence and professionalism when managing customer and stakeholder relationships.

Desirable
- Experience working within the UK Defence or Government environment and an understanding of its customer culture.
- Knowledge of secure technology products, digital solutions or communications technologies.
- Experience supporting innovation programmes, product development or technology-led customer projects.
- Experience with commercial agreements, product and end-user licensing and Intellectual Property considerations.
- Experience supporting Defence-focused exhibitions, industry events or customer engagement activities.

Qualifications & Eligibility
To Be Eligible For This Position You Must
- Have relevant experience in customer engagement, business development, innovation delivery, account management or a related field; and
- Be a British citizen; and
- Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - DV level clearance.
