Innovation & Change Lawyer – Finance & Projects
Location: London or Glasgow

Join a team where your ideas can make a real impact. Pinsent Masons is looking for an Innovation & Change Team Member to join our Finance & Projects Group. This is your opportunity to work at the intersection of law, technology and client delivery, helping to transform how legal services are delivered for some of the firm's most significant clients. Working alongside lawyers, technologists and innovation specialists, you'll help design and implement technology-enabled solutions that drive efficiency, enhance client experience and create lasting value.
This role sits at the forefront of legal innovation, combining client-facing advisory work with cutting-edge technology, automation and AI-driven solutions. You'll work on high-profile projects across the finance and infrastructure sectors, helping clients reimagine legal processes, streamline complex workflows and unlock new ways of delivering legal services. From sophisticated legal operations platforms and document automation programmes to GenAI-enabled due diligence solutions, you'll help shape the future of legal delivery in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

What You’ll Do
Bring your legal, innovation and client engagement skills to a team delivering transformative solutions across legal technology, automation and AI. Your role will see you:
- Working directly with clients to design and deliver innovative, technology-enabled legal solutions
- Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery through automation, process optimisation, data insights and new delivery models
- Collaborating with lawyers, innovation specialists and technology teams to scope, build, test and deploy new solutions
- Supporting the delivery of AI-enabled legal services, including due diligence, document review and workflow transformation programmes
- Contributing to client proposals, pitches and business development initiatives involving innovative service offerings
- Driving adoption of legal technology and new ways of working through training, stakeholder engagement and change management activities
- Building trusted relationships across the Finance & Projects Group and acting as a key advisor on innovation opportunities
- Supporting the firm's broader innovation, automation and AI strategy through research, pilots and continuous improvement initiatives
About The Team
Our Innovation & Change Team works across a broad range of client and firm-wide initiatives, helping to deliver smarter, more efficient and technology-enabled legal services. The team collaborates closely with:
- Finance & Projects lawyers
- Knowledge and Technology Services teams
- Business development and client relationship teams
- Innovation and legal technology specialists
Together, we help clients embrace new technologies, optimise legal processes and unlock innovative approaches to legal service delivery. The team is recognised for its collaborative approach, practical mindset and commitment to shaping the future of the legal profession.
