Magnetic Consultants come from all kinds of backgrounds - design, customer research, foresight, programme management or behavioural science, others are generalists. However, all of our Consultants come up with innovative ideas, solve problems creatively and shape these into logical, coherent solutions that centre around our clients' needs. We synthesise data and insights into actionable recommendations, turning them into viable concepts and prototypes.

Innovation Consultant (Mid-Weight)
Salary: £36,500–£60,000 depending on experience.
Your impact
You'll help turn uncertainty into opportunity. Working across innovation, strategy and service design projects, you'll collaborate with clients to uncover insights, develop ideas and create solutions that make a real difference.
What you'll do
- Lead project workstreams and keep delivery moving forward with confidence.
- Apply human-centred design and innovation methods to tackle complex challenges.
- Plan, scope and deliver high-quality work that creates value for clients.
- Facilitate workshops that bring people together around ideas and action.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and support the growth of those around you through coaching and collaboration.
Senior Innovation Consultant
Salary: £49,500–£87,500 depending on experience.
Your impact
You'll lead transformative projects that help organisations innovate with confidence. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you'll guide clients from insight to implementation while helping strengthen and evolve our practice.
What you'll do
- Lead complex innovation programmes and build lasting client partnerships.
- Use design thinking, agile and innovative approaches to unlock new opportunities.
- Design and deliver research, insight and ideation activities that inspire action.
- Guide products, services and experiences from initial ideation through to delivery.
- Support business growth through proposal development, thought leadership and compelling client engagement.
Managing Consultant
Salary: £76,500–£99,000 depending on experience.
