Job Title
Olympus Innovation Ltd is an innovation consultancy based in London, UK. We work with R&D organisations to support the development and funding of their innovative concepts, primarily in the area of science and engineering.
Due to high demand, we are looking for consultants, who are experienced in writing technically and commercially detailed funding applications, to join our highly successful team.
Key Tasks
- Develop innovative science, engineering and technology-based concepts with clients.
- Research state of the art, technology trends, markets and complete impact assessments.
- Identify suitable grant funding calls.
- Create professionally written content that clearly aligns the technical concept and business case into the funding call scope and expected outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and proposal partners.
- Coordinate and manage projects to ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements
- Experience of writing technical public funding proposals, including for the European Commission’s Framework Programme Horizon Europe and/or Innovate UK.
- Degree or postgraduate degree in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline.
- Excellent communication of written and verbal English.
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Whilst we would like to hear from applicants with experience across different scientific and engineering domains, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Applied sciences, engineering, materials science, advanced manufacturing, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, automation and robotics or related STEM field.
- Digitised production, AI, ML, data analytics, IoT, industrial digitisation, software solutions.
- Climate resilience solutions, circular economy, sustainability, LCA/LCC, resource efficiency, recycling, energy and renewables.
This is a remote-working role, and we thus welcome applicants from the UK and Europe.
