Innovation Coordinator

Circa £32,292 dependent on skills and experience

Permanent, full time (37 hours) with flexible working options

We are looking for an Innovation Coordinator to join our Research and Innovation team! This role supports the effective operation of Anglian Water’s Research and Innovation portfolio, with a particular focus on the Water Innovation Fund programme. Working across innovation projects, partnerships and funding activities, this role will provide coordination, governance, stakeholder engagement, communications and portfolio support that enables innovation activity to operate efficiently, remain compliant, and deliver value for customers, the environment and the business.

In this role you will work closely with the Water Innovation Fund Lead, Innovation Management Office, Innovation Integration team, and the wider business stakeholders to support project delivery, industry collaboration, knowledge sharing and external funding activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Water Innovation Fund projects are effectively coordinated and supported
  • Project governance, reporting and funding requirements are delivered on time
  • Capture and share innovation opportunities, learning and outcomes
  • Ensure the wider innovation portfolio operates efficiently through effective administration and organisation
  • Ensure innovation events, communications and engagement activities are delivery successfully
  • Coordinate project meetings, actions, reporting and stakeholder communications
  • Maintain project documentation, risk logs, milestone plans and governance records
  • Assist Innovation managers with monitoring project budgets, raising requisitions and processing invoices
  • Maintain portfolio trackers, dashboards and reporting outputs that support governance, leadership reviews and decision making
  • Support the delivery of innovation communications across the business

  • Experience in a project coordination, administration, PMP, governance or business support role
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with coordinating meetings, workshops, events and stakeholder activities
  • Experience with maintaining project plans, actions trackers, risk logs or reporting information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of preparing reports, presentations, briefing papers or meeting packs
  • Able to work independently whilst managing competing priorities and deadlines
