The Innovation Executive

The Innovation Executive will be an important member of our AI Enablement & Innovation Team, reporting to the Innovation Manager. This is a hands-on, early-career role for someone with around 1-3 years of professional experience who is excited by technology, AI and finding better ways of working. The role offers the opportunity to support the development and adoption of internal tools, coordinate innovation projects and work with teams across the business to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and impact.

This is a builder role – responsibilities lie across a range of areas, including AI adoption, stakeholder management, solution development, and product management.

Innovation is a compact team focused on driving positive change through technology and creativity. AI gives us the opportunity to do things better, faster, and more efficiently. By testing new ideas, building useful tools, and helping colleagues adopt them in their day-to-day work, the team can make a significant impact across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Tool Development & Delivery

  • Support the ongoing development, testing, and improvement of internal tools
  • Work closely with developers and internal users to document requirements, coordinate testing, identify issues, and help ensure successful tool launches.

Stakeholder Engagement & Adoption

  • Build relationships with internal teams, gather feedback, and help colleagues understand how Innovation can support their work.
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact between the Innovation Team and other departments, escalating decisions or blockers where appropriate.
  • Create clear updates, guidance, and demonstrations to promote Innovation work and encourage adoption.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
