Innovation Lawyers – Leading Law Firm – Hybrid Working
A leading international law firm is seeking Innovation Lawyers, with opportunities focused on Corporate, Projects & Infrastructure and Real Estate. These roles would suit lawyers already working in innovation, as well as those looking to apply their legal experience in a role focused on AI, technology and improving the delivery of legal services.
Working closely with Partners, lawyers, Knowledge teams and technology specialists, you will help identify where innovation can make a practical difference to client work. Embedded within a practice group aligned with your expertise, you will combine legal knowledge with a commercial approach to improve existing services, develop new solutions and support the adoption of AI across live matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside lawyers on live matters to identify opportunities for AI and technology to improve legal service delivery
- Developing, testing and refining new approaches to legal work, drawing on practical experience and client feedback
- Translating ideas and business needs into achievable projects with clear objectives, deliverables and timescales
- Helping develop new legal products and services that respond to client needs
- Supporting the adoption of generative AI tools and new working practices within your practice group
- Working with Partners and clients to explain how technology can support service delivery, including the implications for pricing, quality and risk
- Ensuring new approaches reflect the firm’s requirements for confidentiality, accuracy and responsible use of AI
- Monitoring developments in legal technology and identifying practical applications for the firm and its clients

About You:
- A qualified lawyer with a strong grounding in Corporate, Projects & Infrastructure or Real Estate
- A keen interest in innovation, AI and the potential for technology to improve how legal services are delivered
- An understanding of the practical demands of client work and the ability to identify where different approaches could add value
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with Partners, colleagues and clients
- A commercial outlook, balancing opportunities for innovation with considerations of cost, quality and risk
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to turn complex requirements into practical plans
- A collaborative approach, attention to detail and a willingness to test ideas, assess results and refine solutions
