Innovation Manager (m/f/d)

The MMM begins with you: Turn bold ideas into real products, spot the trends before they happen and drive the kind of innovation that keeps MOGUNTIA ahead of the curve.

Your Tasks Include

  • Develop and implement the company's food innovation strategy in line with business goals, identifying emerging trends, customer insights and market opportunities in close collaboration with marketing
  • Design and manage a clear end-to-end innovation process – from idea generation and evaluation through to testing and launch – including governance frameworks, approval stages and success metrics, ensuring consistent application across all sites
  • Lead the development of new dishes, menu concepts and food experiences, working with chefs and site teams to prototype, refine and roll out new products that balance creativity, operational feasibility and margin performance
  • Coordinate multi-site pilot testing, gather operational feedback and support locations during implementation to ensure quality and consistency ahead of full rollout
  • Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, supply chain and marketing to ensure new products are scalable, supply chains are reliable and launches are aligned with brand positioning
  • Build and present business cases for innovation initiatives and track the commercial performance of new products post-launch

What You Bring With You

  • Proven experience in food innovation, product or menu development within a multi-site food business, with a strong track record of taking concepts from idea through to successful launch
  • Experience designing or implementing innovation frameworks or stage-gate processes is highly desirable
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking combined with solid commercial awareness – able to translate food trends and consumer insights into practical, margin-conscious products
  • Excellent project management and process design skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and influence across functions
  • Sound knowledge of food cost control, supply chain considerations, and food safety and regulatory requirements in product development
  • An entrepreneurial, curious mindset with a collaborative approach and strong execution capability – comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • A genuine passion for food, customer experience and continuous improvement
