What you'll be doing:

At Avon, we're passionate about innovation and creating products that delight our customers. As an Innovation Planner, you'll play a key role in supporting the product development process, ensuring product information is accurate, timelines stay on track, and teams have the visibility they need to deliver successful launches.

You'll be at the heart of our innovation process, helping to keep product launches moving smoothly from concept to market. Working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, you'll manage product information across multiple systems, coordinate activities against key timelines, and provide valuable administrative and reporting support. You'll also help maintain accurate product data, track samples, support meetings, and contribute insights that enable informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating product information across internal systems and databases.
  • Monitoring project timelines and supporting critical path management.
  • Producing reports, updates, and communications for stakeholders.
  • Coordinating product samples, tracking deliveries, and supporting supplier communications.
  • Supporting innovation and category meetings through note-taking, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Managing product approvals, imagery, descriptions, and compliance checks.
  • Conducting competitor and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Supporting pricing, benchmarking, and product performance reporting activities.

What we're looking for

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Confidence working with systems, data, and administrative processes.
  • Good numerical skills and the ability to analyze information effectively.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
  • An interest in product development, innovation, and market trends.
  • A-level education or equivalent is desirable.
