Role Overview

We’re looking for a Programme Manager to join the team and help lead one of our upcoming innovation labs.

This role will be a hybrid role, but face to face client time will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the launch and delivery of Innovation programmes to ensure client objectives are met; this includes getting to grips with the client’s needs to decide on ‘problem areas’.
  • Working with startups and scaleups to develop and deploy their innovative ideas and solutions with our corporate partners.
  • Leading our corporate partners to meet their strategic innovation goals through partnerships with disruptive technology providers.
  • Developing long-term relationships with our clients and their internal teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Acting as a knowledgeable advisor to the client in how to deliver an innovation programme and work with chosen suppliers.
  • Assist with scouting potential teams for the programme if needed.
  • Organising, facilitating, and delivering events as part of your programme, including public speaking.
  • Ensuring that L Marks high standards of quality are upheld.
  • Monitoring progress of the programme and routinely assessing for risks.
  • Providing clear analysis and reporting on programme status throughout project delivery.
  • Forecasting and managing the programme budget, ensuring it runs to budget.
  • Our friendly face on the ground to help startups connect effectively with our corporate partners.

Requirements

You should have:

  • At least 3 years of project management, client delivery, account management or consultancy experience;
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, taking full ownership of your programmes, while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals;
  • Experience working with clients across different levels, including C-suite, and delivering value to them;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively, including strong writing skills;
  • An understanding and experience of corporate innovation, technology, and the opportunity of startup collaboration;
  • Strong organisational skills and proven ability to work efficiently to tight timelines while paying strict attention to detail;
  • Excellent diplomacy, negotiation and client relationship management;
  • Fantastic people skills and strong emotional intelligence;
  • A demonstrable interest in entrepreneurship and early-stage businesses.
