Overview

Re:Co is a technology-powered services firm that supports private markets clients with the development and implementation of effective sustainability and responsible AI strategies. Our firm was founded on the idea that acting responsibly is a driver of growth, not a constraint on it. Whether it is sustainability or AI, we help our clients build good practice into core strategy, so they can improve performance, manage risk and unlock financial value as they grow. We're delighted to be seeking a Senior Innovation Associate to join our team.

The Senior Innovation Associate will sit at the intersection of our advisory work and our engineering team, helping to turn ideas into AI-enabled products and tools that are used both internally and by clients. While there is no prescribed background required for the role, the individual likely has 2-4 years of work experience and has shown strength in structured problem solving, ideally in a product, technology, consulting or start-up environment. They will have some experience working with AI and, ideally, building products. A background in sustainability or responsible AI is not required, but a genuine interest in learning about both is crucial.

Job Requirements

  • Working closely with the Innovation Director and CTO to identify opportunities where AI and technology can improve our advisory work, and shaping these into clearly defined products and solutions
  • Owning the process end to end, with the support of senior colleagues, from early concept through to delivery: translating requirements into clear specifications and working hands-on to build, test and launch the result
  • Building and structuring datasets that accelerate our work, making our knowledge and data more usable for both people and AI
  • Hands-on building, deployment and maintenance of client-facing software products and internal software tools, including user-support, and directly debugging and fixing problems
  • Testing and iterating on AI-enabled tools with users across the firm and, over time, with clients

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we are looking for

  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity, where the answer is not yet known
  • The ability to structure thoughts and ideas logically and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues, including understanding the "why" behind what we build
  • Ideally, you would have hands on experience with building, shipping and maintaining software products (either with or without AI-assistance), and ability to work on both front end and back-end development, and deployment environments such as AWS as the role requires. Minimally, you should have sufficient hands-on experience in these areas to demonstrate that you are willing and able to meet the job responsibilities in these areas with coaching from the software engineers on the team.
  • Experience working with AI
  • Ownership and initiative, knowing when and how to ask for support
  • Curiosity and a real interest in learning about sustainability and responsible AI
  • Enthusiasm for start-up life: a willingness to get involved in a wide range of work and learn quickly
