Inpatient Pathway Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Inpatient Pathway Administrator to join our dynamic Eating Disorder Inpatient team.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience and knowledge of working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the ward team, ensuring smooth administrative operations and excellent service delivery.
- Provide a professional and confidential administration service and development of administrative processes.
- Screen telephone calls, as appropriate.
- Ensure daily tasks and on-going workloads are prioritised and completed within deadlines.
- Screen referrals in a timely way.
- Organise ward rounds, meetings, interpreters and translation where appropriate.
- Attend and minute meetings.
- Trace patient NHS details via the National Tracing System.
- Maintain accurate waiting lists.
- Contribute to Health and Safety requirements.
- Support trainees and temporary staff get access to systems.
- Log faults and works with Estates and Facilities Department.
- Assist with monitoring, updating and reporting comprehensive service-related activity data.
- Responsible for checking of correct care options.
- Support with completion of E-roster system.
- Support with recruitment and selection when required.
- Provide cover for admin colleagues, as required.
- Assist with development of patient information and team leaflets.
- Assist in service user and carer feedback surveys.
- Line manage junior admin staff.
- Participate in development and training identified through appraisal and supervision process, and completion of mandatory training.

The Organisation
Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2). We also provide services and operate across other locations, such as London boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; and substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Lambeth, Greenwich and Wandsworth.

The Service
The Eating Disorder service is an inpatient unit (currently 16 beds; Gerald Russell Ward) based at the New Douglas Bennett House, Maudsley Hospital accepting local and national referrals for severe and chronic eating disorders.
