Inside Account Representative
Description
The Inside Account Representative (IAR) partners with the Account Executive (AE) to retain recurring revenue and create new opportunities with existing or new accounts.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end sales process—primarily for transactional opportunities—while supporting contractual engagements, building strong relationships with key influencers, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas and maintain pipeline health.
- Manage account relationships and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with the AE to nurture new business and manage account strategy.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including customer teams, internal coordinators, and sales specialists using HP’s remote sales capabilities.
- Ensure successful solution implementation and support product adoption.
- Identify expand opportunities and collaborate with AE/partners in account planning.
- Independently drive lower value and transactional deals from qualification to close, with a focus on portfolio expansion.
- Assist or lead activities related to product selection, demonstrations, RFP responses, CPQ management, and catalogue updates.
- Support the sales cycle, including project management, pricing, solutioning, sales closure, and technical demos.
- Support account relationships to drive sales and ensure pipeline management.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Recent Graduate with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or related experience
- First experience in sales and account management.
- Organizational and program management skills.
- Experience in direct selling, stakeholder interaction, achieving sales quotas, supporting account teams and transactional deals, and managing pipelines will be considered an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills
- End-to-end sales processes management.
- Collaboration skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in contractual/services selling and driving recurring revenue.
- Ability to identify opportunities and align with strategic plans.
- Skills in digital and remote selling.
- Self-motivation and proactive approach to prospecting and business development.
- Business fluent in German and fluent English skills.
- New Technology and AI: demonstrated curiosity and confidence in adopting emerging tools and technologies—especially AI—to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and productivity. The ability to quickly learn, adapt, and apply digital solutions in daily workflows, and to use AI insights to drive smarter decisions and more personalized customer interactions.
